Versatile: This reel lawn mower hand sharpener includes 2 sharpening slots - a Bed Knife Sharpener and a Reel Blade Sharpener. You can sharpen both the bed blade and the reel blades on a reel mower. This push mower blade sharpening helps refine and maintain the edges of the blades, keeping your mower cutting more efficiently.

Sharpen Reel Blades: To use, place the sharpener onto the reel blade so the rotating arms are both slotted over the blade. Apply mild pressure and run the sharpener back and forth over the full length of the blade. The rotating arms will follow the curvature of the blade.

Sharpen Bed Knife Blades: To use, flip the reel mower upside down. Invert the sharpener so the bed knife slot is placed over the cutter bar. Apply mild pressure and slide the sharpener back and forth, carefully rotating the reel as needed to allow the sharpener to move along the full length of the bed knife blade.

Safe & Easy Use: Wear gloves and safety goggles when sharpening your reel. Do not put extremities between the reel mower blades, as when the reel is spinning, it will cut whatever is between the blades.
